C. 1910's sterling silver muff chain with impeccably hand-forged, alternating flat rolo and bar links. The chain has a lovely, supple movement and a silky feel. Can be worn long, doubled, around the waist as a belt or belly chain, as a lariat.... because the clasp can pass through all the links, the possibilities for wear are truly limited to the imagination. The chain has been tested as at least sterling, but to me it actually looks like a higher grade, fine silver - with such a luminous glow and soft patina. Finished with a beautiful antique tensions spring clasp.
