C. 1950’s. Beautiful 18k yellow gold channel-set diamond ring with blackened gold details. A striking modernist rendition of a classic channel setting, with a singular 3mm diamond. The lips of the ring come up to a slight square face to hold the diamond in place. The blackened interior of the channel setting creates a shadowbox effect, brilliantly accentuating the diamond. A really singular art piece, yet beautifully simple - perfect to commemorate something special and/or stacking. Purity stamped on the inside of the band.
