Lovely antique gold signet ring, set with a large, whisky citrine in a classic, slightly raised setting. The shape of this ring is gorgeous and really compliments the stone. The raised bezel is flattering on the finger, and adds a timeless element to the design. The citrine's amber hue really pops against the rich yellow gold. The ring is stamped 23k, but after running it through a digital scanner it tested for 15k - 18k (a proof of human fallibility… and of course alloyed craftsmanship long before modern machinery!). Beautifully hand-inscribed and dated 1905.
