C. 1980's postmodern pearl ring. Hand forged from thick, geometric panels of sterling silver, splayed slightly ajar to hold a single 8mm natural freshwater pearl in a brilliant tension setting. The pearl is not attached with any glue or screwed setting, and rotates freely within the ring, simply but safely sandwiched between one cutout section of panel, and the edge of the other. Really special piece. Hand-scrawled engraving, "SJ © STER," on the back outer edge of the band.
