C. 1950’s. Unique sterling silver riveted, kinetic link bangle. This bracelet is made of by petal-like bar panels, with one ball-shaped end riveted to connect to the next. Rivets are considered a cold connect due to the lack of flame involved to connect to things. In this case, the end of the riveted has been melted with a flame to ensure it will not fall through the hole. This is a great take on classic metal smithing techniques, and a very affective and seamless design. This bracelet has no clasp, therefore it is to be worn slightly looser in order to get it on and off, like a bangle. Best suited for a size medium wrist.
Opening is 2.75", 12.82 grams.
