C. 1970's hand carved brutalist style sterling silver ring, blob-set (a term I just invented now) with a stunning, sapphire blue orb of hand-blown glass. Beautiful oxidation to the nooks and crevices of the carving give the ring extra depth and dimension. The glass orb has little captured bubbles and shifts from cornflower blue to deep midnight as it moves through shadow and light.
