C. 1930's-1940's artisan sterling silver fish charm and ball and link necklace, hand-crafted by the American art jeweler E. Byrne Livingston (whose work can be seen in many museum and private collections worldwide). The necklace is absolutely breathtaking, with one, two, or three hand-chased fish suspended from large forward-facing rings, riveted to closed repoussé balls. Artist and sterling hallmarks on the back of the central fish and hook clasp. The necklace is even more dreamlike on the skin, with the fish laying so effortlessly against the skin. Incredibly, early modernist collector's piece and a true work of art.
