C. 1970’s modernist collar by the renowned American jewelry artist, Alfred Karram, whose work can be found in the permanent collection of many museums. The collar consists of sterling silver and a large, dark blue sodalite cabochon, suspended from an extra thick woven cord of silk rope, which knots at the back. What a stunning piece, from every angle. The perfectly forged sterling tubing suspends the sodalite centerpiece, and the silky rope is encapsulated and finished with sterling balled end caps. A very special collector’s piece, with such great day-to-night versatility. Hallmarks and purtity stamped on the bezel.
